What type of franchise is available?

LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA offers you the opportunity to operate a fast casual restaurant featuring a variety of fresh pasta dishes and 16 homemade sauces, prepared to order in addition to hot and cold GOURMET sandwiches, salads, side orders and soups.

How much does the franchise cost?

The estimated initial investment to establish a LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA ranges from $200,000 to $290,600. This includes a franchise fee of $45,000, as well as the necessary buildout, inventory, décor and startup costs associated with your restaurant.

How much is the fee for continuing support services?

The continuing services, or “royalty” fee is 6% of your Gross Sales, which must be paid on a weekly basis. The fee entitles you to use the LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA trade name, and the associated service marks, access to operational systems, marketing assistance, ongoing business development, consulting and other benefits that come with being a part of the LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA.

Will I have an exclusive territory?

Yes each franchisee is granted an protected territory for operating your restaurant. The territory will consists of at least 30,000 people around your location. A report on your desired territory will be provided.

How much training is provided in the LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA systems?

Proper training is the key to a well run franchise and is the highest priority for us. As a Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta franchisee you will receive preopening training for the Designated Manager and two assistants to be held at our Boston headquarters. This initial training program covers all areas of the business including sales and marketing methods, financial controls, maintenance of quality standards, customer service techniques, record keeping and reporting procedures, and other operational issues.

What form of business start-up assistance and ongoing support will I receive?

In addition to the initial training at our Headquarter’s location, we will also make available to you, a business support person to assist in training your staff in Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta techniques and for the purpose of providing general assistance and guidance in connection with the opening of your restaurant. What is the term of the LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA, Franchise Agreement?

The term of the Franchise Agreement is 10 years , with five year renewal terms after the initial term.

FRANCHISE SALES PROCESS:

1. Review franchise information on www.LillysGourmetPasta.com
   Many of your initial questions will be answered by the information provided here.
2. Complete "Information Request Form"
   Please complete our Information Request Form to receive additional information. If you meet our preliminary criteria and your territory is available, a representative will be in touch within 2 business days. When we receive your information we will mail out a Marketing Packet with additional information on our franchise as well as an application.
3. Initial phone call
   During our first call we will further discuss the Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta opportunity. We will also cover a few key topics including; your motivation, business background and territory of interest.
4. Email marketing packet
   Upon receiving your information request we will also email you additional information about the Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta franchise opportunity. Occasionally these emails will go into the spam folders because of attachments we include with the emails, so check your email for exciting information.

5. Return application
   The application tells us that you are serious about the opportunity and it will also give us a clear picture of your financial and managerial plans.
6. Receive UFOC
   Upon receipt of your completed application, we will mail you our Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). The UFOC further defines the relationship between us - the Franchisor (us) and the Franchisee (you). It is a legal document, and it is what you will sign in order to become a Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta franchisee.
7. UFOC Conference Call
   Within two weeks of your receiving the UFOC, we will contact you to schedule a UFOC Conference Call. This call will give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the UFOC or Franchise Agreement. If you plan to review the UFOC with an attorney, or have specific legal questions, please submit your questions prior to our call.
8. Discovery Day!
   Your Discovery should be held within 30 days of your UFOC Conference Call. Discovery Days are held at our corporate headquarters in Boston, MA. You will have the opportunity to view our corporate stores and see first hand how the Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta system works as well as spend time with the Lilly’s Gourmet franchise staff and our CEO.
9. Signing
   If we feel that you are a great franchisee candidate, we will send you a formal written offer including the assigned territory. The signing is done remotely and does not require a trip back to our headquarters.
